Faustas Latenas is a winner of the National Prize of Lithuania in the field of literature and art.
December 9, 2013 the names of winners of the Lithuanian National Prize
in the field of culture and art became known.
They are the composers Faustas Latenas and Giedrius Antanas Kupryavichyus, the actor Donatas Banionis, the writer Vladas Brazyunas and the actor Juozas Budrajtis.
Lithuanian National Prize in the field of culture and art is awarded annually since 1989 for the most significant works created over the last seven years. No more than six Lithuanian National Award are awarded annually.
The prizes will be awarded by the President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite February 16, 2014 .
