Two productions will be performed within the framework of the «Ruhrfestspiele» Festival, that takes place from May 19 to 25, 2015

The tour schedule contains the following productions of the Vakhtangov Theatre on the stage of the Theater Marl:

“Wind in the Poplars” written by the French playwright Gérald Sibleyras (directed by Rimas Tuminas). The production was launched on February 19, 2011. The cast includes the leading actors of the Vakhtangov Theatre – People’s Artist of Russia, Vladimir Simonov, Russian State Awards Laureate Maxim Sukhanov and Merited Artist of Russia Vladimir Vdovichenkov

“The Coast of Women” (a choreographic composition based on the lyrics of Marlene Dietrich) directed by Anzelika Cholina. The production was launched on August 22, 2008. It was the first work of Anzelika Cholina on the stage of the Vakhtangov Theatre. The keynote of the production are the songs of Marlene Dietrich. Each of the songs contain a story, that are intertwined with the heroines’ destinies. Make-up and costumes – by Jiuozas Statkievicius.
