Foma Gordeev (1956)

The performance was put on the stage by E. R. Simonov in 1956.

Young Grigory Abrikosov’s performance of the role of Foma became a remarkable event of the theatrical season. In a sad and insatiable search for the young merchant who feels constricted among his associates Abrikosov’s character travelled the distance from a soft and simple-hearted youth to a furious and fiercely hating man.
