Three Ages of Casanova (1985)

A performance put on the stage by E. R. Simonov in the Vakhtangov Theatre is one of the first references of the Russian theatre to the heritage of Marina Tsvetaeva. This was a personal composition of Evgeniy Simonov based on the plays of M. Tsvetaeva “The Adventure”  and “The Phoenix”. This romantic production filled with passions of the furious XVIII century told about three love episodes from the life of adventurer Casanova.

The performance included music from the works of I. Bach, I. Haydn, G. Sviridov.
